Day 01: Arrival in Colombo / Transfer to Negombo / Overnight in Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your Sonne & Ceylon representative. Transfer approximately 20 minutes to your hotel in Negombo, located near the lagoon. Relax after your flight, take an evening walk along the lagoon or the beach, and enjoy a fresh seafood dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day 02: Drive to Anuradhapura / Guided tour of sacred city / Overnight in Anuradhapura

After breakfast, depart for a 4.5-hour drive to Anuradhapura. Explore the sacred city with a guide, visiting stupas, temples, and the famous Bodhi tree while learning the spiritual and historical significance of each site. Evening at leisure to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your hotel or a short village walk.

Day 03: Sunrise hike to Mihintale / Village craft workshop / Overnight in Anuradhapura

Day 04: Drive to Sigiriya / Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress / Overnight in Sigiriya

Day 05: Morning safari at Minneriya / Dambulla Cave Temple / Overnight in Sigiriya

Day 07: Drive to Kandy / Temple of the Tooth / Optional cultural performance / Overnight in Kandy

Day 08: Peradeniya Botanical Gardens / Tea and spice garden visit / Market stroll / Overnight in Kandy

Day 14: Optional guided Knuckles Mountain hike / Tea factory visit / Overnight in Haputale

Day 15: Drive to Yala / Afternoon safari / Overnight near Yala

Day 16: Morning safari / Transfer to Mirissa / Whale watching / Overnight in Mirissa
